Greetings from the Philippines! Happy New Year!

Thank you so much for the email. Our sincere apologies for the delayed response. 

Our prayer requests:

1. Please pray for strength, wisdom, and protection as we continue to adjust to life in the Philippines. 

2. Please pray for travel mercies and safety. We travel to Occidental Mindoro once a month (usually during the last week of each month). It takes 8-10 hours (one way), depending on weather, ferry schedule, and traffic. 

3. Please pray for Maya (Grade 3) and Ava (Grade 1). That their love for God will continue to grow each day. That their identity and self-worth will be firmly rooted in the gospel while growing up in the Philippines as missionary kids (MKs). 

4. Please pray that we will be able to thrive on the mission field for God's glory. 

5. Please pray for our missions work in Occidental Mindoro (43 Mangyan churches).

6. Please pray for All Nations Mission School, our seminary in Occidental Mindoro. That it will continue to serve as an important training ground for our gospel partners (40 Mangyan pastors and 73 lay leaders). That it will continue to function as an essential lifeline for the Mangyan communities (works of mercy and justice).

Please continue to keep us in your prayers. 

We are extremely thankful for our gospel partnership with BCPC. Please extend our deepest gratitude to the session and the entire congregation for faithfully supporting our missions work in the Philippines.

Dear Friends,

2023 was a big transition year for our family. With much hope and anticipation, we excitedly began the process of putting down our roots in the Philippines—our new home.

We intentionally started the new year with a time of family worship. We sang "Because of Who You Are" while reflecting on God's goodness. We decided to write down the ways in which God has remained faithful to us throughout 2023. We each took turns sharing about God's meticulous care, abundant provisions, and timely interventions. It was really good for us as a family to pause and celebrate God's faithfulness.

We are extremely excited for all the great things that God has in store for us in 2024. Thank you so much for faithfully supporting our missions work in the Philippines. Thank you so much for joyfully partnering with us to advance the gospel in Occidental Mindoro.
